Myntra Seller Partner FAQs

To register as a seller on Myntra, you must be a legally registered business entity (Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, LLP, or Private Limited Company) operating in fashion, footwear, beauty, accessories, or home lifestyle. Key requirements include an active GSTIN, business PAN, a dedicated Current Bank Account, a registered trademark or brand authorization letter (NOC), and a minimum catalog of 20–30 active SKUs.

You will need: (1) Business PAN Card, (2) GST Registration Certificate (GSTIN must match your warehouse state), (3) Cancelled Cheque of your business Current Account, (4) Trademark Certificate (Class 25 for apparel, Class 3 for beauty, etc.) or Brand Authorization Letter/NOC from the brand owner, (5) Authorized signatory signature copy, and (6) Sample digital lookbook/catalog with high-resolution imagery.

There are ZERO upfront registration fees or security deposits. Myntra charges on a pay-per-sale model consisting of: (1) Category Referral Commission (typically 15% to 25% of selling price), (2) Fixed Closing Fee (₹20 to ₹70 based on price slab), (3) Forward Logistics/Shipping charges based on parcel volumetric weight & shipping zone, and (4) 18% GST on all platform service fees.

Myntra operates an automated weekly or bi-weekly payment settlement cycle via direct bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to your verified Current Account. Payouts are calculated for delivered orders after the mandatory 14-day customer return window has concluded. Itemized deduction ledgers and GST TCS credit notes are downloadable from the Partner Portal.

Myntra maintains strict catalog quality benchmarks: Minimum image resolution of 1500×2000 pixels (JPEG format), clean solid white or neutral light grey background, and mandatory real human model photography (minimum 4 to 6 angles including front, back, side, and close-up fabric detail) for all apparel and footwear. Flat-lay or mannequin shoots are rejected for core apparel categories.

Yes, an active GSTIN is strictly mandatory for all sellers across all product categories. Furthermore, your registered GST state must strictly match the PIN code of your dispatch warehouse from which Myntra Logistics courier partners will pick up orders.

If you are the brand owner, you must have at least a Trademark Application (TM Status) or Registered Trademark Certificate (Class corresponding to your category). If you are an authorized distributor or reseller, you must provide a formal Brand Authorization Letter or No Objection Certificate (NOC) on the brand owner’s official letterhead.

Initial application screening and document review by Myntra’s category management team typically takes 7 to 15 working days. The end-to-end journey—from commercial alignment, digital agreement execution, logistics configuration, to catalog QC approval and listing go-live—takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

The top 4 rejection triggers are: (1) Mismatch between warehouse pickup address PIN code and GST registration certificate state, (2) Submitting personal savings account details instead of a business Current Account, (3) Inadequate catalog size (fewer than 20 distinct SKUs), and (4) Poor image quality, non-model shoots, or lack of trademark proof.

All financial reports—including monthly GST Tax Collected at Source (TCS) certificates, Commission Invoices, Order-level Settlement Ledgers, and TDS certificates under Section 194-O—are accessible directly inside the Myntra Partner Portal under the "Finance & Settlements" tab for seamless monthly GST filing.

Base catalog discounts are funded by the seller. However, platform-wide promotional vouchers, bank instant discounts (e.g. 10% instant off on HDFC/ICICI cards), and SuperCoins loyalty redemptions during mega sales like EORS and BFF are partially or fully funded by Myntra as per the pre-agreed event commercial construct.

Yes. To safeguard customer experience, Myntra levies a seller cancellation penalty (typically referral commission plus reverse logistics fee) on orders cancelled due to non-fulfillment or inventory stockouts. Maintaining automated real-time inventory sync prevents these penalties.

Myntra requires a minimum catalog depth of 20 to 30 unique, sellable SKUs (with complete size curves in stock) for brand approval. Having a healthy catalog depth ensures better customer assortment and organic discoverability across search and category filters.

Once you upload product specifications and images via the Partner Portal, Myntra’s QC team reviews compliance within 2 to 5 business days. Once approved, listings appear live on Myntra.com within 24 hours of inventory updation.

You can modify selling prices and inventory counts instantly in real time. However, modifications to MRP, core product titles, primary images, or category classifications require re-submission to the QC team to ensure compliance with Legal Metrology regulations.

Size and fit ambiguity is the #1 cause of e-commerce fashion returns (accounting for ~55% of all returns). Providing comprehensive, garment-specific size charts (chest, waist, hip, length, shoulder in inches and cm) along with model height & size worn drastically cuts return rates and boosts seller tier ratings.

Under the Pure Play Marketplace (PPMP C+L) model, whenever a customer places an order, the notification appears in your Partner Portal. You print the tax invoice and shipping label, pack the product according to Myntra guidelines, and mark it "Ready for Dispatch". An assigned Myntra Logistics / 3PL courier executive arrives at your warehouse for daily batch pickup.

Myntra mandates a strict dispatch SLA of 24 to 48 hours from order receipt. Consistently maintaining an SLA adherence rate above 98% qualifies your account for priority search placement, badge upgrades, and lower platform charges.

In PPMP C+L (Courier + Logistics), inventory resides in your warehouse, and Myntra manages door-to-door customer delivery and return reverse logistics. In PPMP C+C (Customer + Courier / Cross-Dock), bulk inventory is stored or cross-docked at Myntra Fulfillment Centers (FCs), enabling same-day/next-day M-Express delivery badges.

Sellers are responsible for procuring standard tamper-evident polybags, corrugated boxes, and bubble wrap. Packaging must adhere to Myntra’s brand-neutral specifications with barcoded shipping labels affixed clearly on the outer surface.

When a customer requests a return within the 14-day policy window, Myntra Logistics picks up the item from the customer, performs preliminary QC at the hub, and routes the parcel back to your registered warehouse. You have 7 days upon delivery to verify condition.

If you receive a damaged product, incorrect item, or empty parcel, you can file a Seller Protection Fund (SPF) claim within 72 hours of return delivery via the Partner Portal. Submit unboxing video footage, outer shipping label photos, and item condition images for reimbursement.

For Customer Returns (items returned after delivery), standard reverse shipping fees apply and platform referral commission is refunded to the seller. For RTO (Return to Origin due to customer unavailability/cancellation before delivery), commission is not charged and nominal RTO handling applies.
